Ventana de Flores
EEC designed both the site plan and developed the Ventana de Flores specific plan for 335 acres of mixed-unit residential development south of the existing Golden Acres project in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The project will include a total of 1,480 lots varying in size between 3,500 s.f. and 8,000 s.f. The project also includes a 20-acre regional park and a 4-acre neighborhood park, as well as over 3.1 miles of pedestrian/bicycle trails which will provide connectivity to both the City of Sierra Vista trail system as well as the parks provided with the project. EEC was the lead planner and engineer in the entitlement process. The process included the development of a comprehensive plan amendment for the Cochise County Traffic and Circulation Plan.
