EEC Projects

Our project team implemented the Progressive Design Build alternative project delivery method to complete the design and installation of a 4.8-mile-long, 15-inch sewer interceptor along Twin Peaks Road. The project eliminated the need for a pump station and allowed Pima County to repurpose the decommissioned pump station site to an odor control facility. Total cost of the project was $11.2M (including land acquisition, native plant and riparian habitat rehabilitation, public information, and inter-governmental agency agreement costs). Significant coordination with the owner, private developers, and stakeholders was required, and the project followed a strict schedule to facilitate the construction of planned developments.
