Lead Environmental Manager

EEC is seeking a Lead Environmental Manager for our office located in Phoenix, Arizona.  The position will be responsible for business development and project management of all environmental projects within the company.  The successful candidate must have the drive and personality to be active in the environmental community and build and enhance EEC’s substantial environmental reputation and credibility.

Education/Experience Requirements

Minimum requirements for consideration are 12 years of increasing responsibility in the environmental industry, staff management and a proven track record for successful project management and client satisfaction.  Experience in either the public or private sectors is acceptable and experience in business development a definite plus.  The candidate should have Arizona professional registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Geologist (RG), or the ability to get registered within 6 months of employment, or possess other certifications in environmental planning, etc.  This position would operate at a Director level, participate in EEC’s Executive Leadership Team, and would report directly to the President.  Strong organizational skills, along with excellent oral and written communication ability using English is required.

Physical and Other Requirements

Must be able to operate office equipment and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
