Project Experience:
Green Valley NPDES Permit Assistance, Green Valley, Arizona
EEC prepared a process diagram and process description for the Pima County Wastewater Management Department's treatment plant expansion in Green Valley. The expansion added a biological nutrient removal system to the existing lagoon system in order to produce effluent meeting Class A Reclaimed Water Quality Standards. The documents created were used as part of the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit application.
Thornydale Sewer ADEQ Application to Construct, Tucson, Arizona
EEC prepared an Engineering Design Report and Application to Construct a Sewage Facility for a sewer being constructed as part of a roadway improvement project. The application was approved by ADEQ without revision.
Ramsey Canyon Wastewater Treatment Facility Application to Construct, Sierra Vista, Arizona
As part of a design contract for an on-site wastewater treatment system, EEC submitted the required applications to ADEQ for installation and operation of the septic and subsurface drip disposal system for the Nature Conservancy's facility at Ramsey Canyon. The submittals to ADEQ were based upon our design package, as well as site visits, to assure that the system was installed in accordance with the engineering design.
Agua Caliente Wastewater Treatment System Permit, Tucson, Arizona
EEC prepared engineering drawings for a new on-site wastewater treatment system and fire main for the Roy P. Drachman-Agua Caliente Regional Park. As part of the engineering design, EEC submitted the necessary applications to ADEQ for approval of the wastewater treatment system.
