Project Experience:
CAP Basin Park, Scottsdale, Arizona
EEC provided design of a 70-acre, $10 million, 10-field soccer complex with a unique drainage system that doubles as a parking lot for 8,000 cars during the Phoenix Open Golf Tournament. The project includes civil engineering, hydrology, landscape architecture, land surveying, and natural resource services.
Esteban Park, Phoenix, Arizona
EEC provided design and construction administration for this 60-acre park located in Phoenix. Phase I improvements included two new lighted softball fields with stadium seating, a T-Ball size field, playground improvements, concrete pathways, a restroom building, and planting and irrigation. Phase II included a third softball field, two new soccer fields, plaza area, tennis, basketball and volleyball court improvements, parking lot improvements, landscaping, and lighting.
Presidio de Arboles Neighborhood Park, Tucson, Arizona
EEC prepared concept plans for the design of Presidio de Arboles, a residential neighborhood park, for review by the Town of Sahuarita.
Paseo Highlands Park, Phoenix, Arizona
EEC provided planning, design, and construction administration for this $9.5 million, 40-acre park in north Phoenix. Features included lighted softball, soccer, basketball, and volleyball fields; playgrounds; a restroom facility; armadas; a 56,000 square foot community center; and a Park District maintenance facility.
Canada del Oro Multi-Use Path, Oro Valley, Arizona
EEC prepared construction and landscape plans for two miles of a paved multi-use path along the Canada de Oro Wash for the Town of Oro Valley.
East Main Canal Trail, Yuma, Arizona
EEC provided civil and landscape design for 1.5 miles of multi-use path for the City of Yuma. The design of the path and path enhancements allow for continued canal maintenance operations by the Yuma County Water Users' Association. EEC also prepared signage plans and lighting coordination.
