Project Experience:
Randolph Park W.A.S.H. Ordinance Compliance and NPPO Plans, Tucson, Arizona
EEC provided landscape architecture services to assist Pima County Wastewater Management with compliance with the City of Tucson Ordinance "Watercourse Amenities, Safety, and Habitat (W.A.S.H) Ordinance". Additionally, our team prepared landscape plans and specification for the Randolph Water Reclamation Facility lift station in order to assure compliance with Tucson's Native Plant Protection Ordinance (NPPO).
Rita 244 Retail Center Native Plant Preservation Plan, Tucson, Arizona
EEC performed an extensive plant inventory for a 20+ acre commercial project on a heavily vegetated site, requiring a field evaluation of the health, viability, and transplantability of each protected plant. EEC also prepared extensive mitigation plans showing the distribution of transplant and mitigation plants per City requirements.
Arizona State land Right-of-Way Native Plant Survey, Cochise County, Arizona
EEC conducted a native plant inventory of a proposed private right-of-way across state lands. EEC also assisted the client with the required notices and permitting from the Arizona Department of Agriculture.
Arivaca Sewer Line NPPO Plan, Tucson, Arizona
EEC prepared landscape mitigation plans for a proposed 3.6-mile sewer relief pipeline near Canoa Ranch near Green Valley, Arizona. These plans included relocating trees to a future park site and associated irrigation plans. EEC inventoried and mapped plants protected by Arizona Native Plant Law and Pima County Native Plant Preservation Ordinance (NPPO) throughout the site.
Pantano Wash Mitigation Plan, Tucson, Arizona
EEC prepared landscape mitigation plans for bank stabilization and a sewer protection project near Pantano Wash and Craycroft Road. This included the planting of 150 trees and hydroseeding of the disturbed areas on this ½ mile project and associated irrigation system.
