| Primary Responsibilities |
|
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in Phase I/II ESAs, LUST, SAF, RCRA, and NESHAP. Job responsibilities include performing small to large, due diligence projects, conduct field investigation, research and compile data, analyze environmental data, write environmental reports, interface with clients and regulatory agencies, assist with labor/material estimates, support project managers with permitting and regulatory compliance, and CADD and GIS. The candidate must be able to manage multiple task assignments while working within strict budgets and schedules. Some in-state travel may be required as needed dependent on projects assigned. |

Education/Experience Requirements |

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, Environmental Science or closely related science field and 3-6 years of professional experience. Candidate must function as an effective team member but be able to demonstrate personal initiative. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have excellent technical writing skills, experience in spreadsheet preparation, strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills with a sense of humor and a willingness to learn, grow and advance with the company. The successful candidate will have current 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher training. Other certifications in asbestos and lead based paint are also desired. |

Other requirements include having a valid Arizona driver’s license, being capable of site visits and field operation, use office equipment, lift 25 lbs, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in AZPDES/NPDES stormwater, Aquifer Protection Permits, and NEPA Environmental Planning. Job responsibilities include read and understand regulatory and permit requirements, research and compile data, analyze environmental data, prepare and review permit applications, write environmental reports and planning documents, interface with clients and regulatory agencies, conduct site visits and inspections, assist with labor/material estimates, support project managers with permitting and regulatory compliance. The candidate must be able to manage multiple task assignments while working within strict budgets and schedules. Some in-state travel may be required as needed dependent on projects assigned. Strong verbal communication skills and professional judgment required for interactions with clients and regulatory agencies. |

Must have excellent technical writing skills, experience in spreadsheet preparation, strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills with a sense of humor and a willingness to learn, grow and advance with the company.
