Primary Responsibilities		Engineering and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (EEC) has an excellent opportunity in our Phoenix office for a civil Project Engineer to join our Public Works department. Responsible for transportation design projects from original concept to placed in service. Familiarity and experience with development of traffic designs, roadway construction plans, highway permitting, drainage design, pavement design, right-of-way plans, maintenance and protection of traffic. Responsible to coordinate design projects and work as a team member.
Education/Experience Requirements		Qualified candidate will have a BSCE and be a registered P.E. in the state of Arizona. You will have 5-8 years experience with an emphasis in engineering for the public sector; ADOT and/or local agency project experience is preferred. Must have a proven track record and ability to rapidly become a valuable member of the team for our client's satisfaction. You should have experience using Micro Station/InRoads and/or AutoCAD. This position requires strong planning and organizational skills, design and technical skills, writing and editing ability. The successful candidate will also exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements		Other requirements include having a valid AZ driver's license, being capable of site visits and field operations, using office equipment effectively, having the ability to lift 25 lbs., and you must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
